🧸 Nursery Section (Ages 1-5)

Where Learning Begins with Joy

Our nursery program creates a magical world where young children discover the joy of learning through play, songs, and exploration. Every day is an adventure designed to build confidence, curiosity, and foundational skills.

Program Structure

Day Care (12 months – 2 years)

From 6:30 AM, your baby is welcomed into safe and loving hands. Our trained caregivers provide a nurturing environment with supervised play and rest periods, early exposure to both French and English, sensory activities that stimulate development, music and movement sessions, and nutritious snacks with careful meal supervision. We also support diaper changing and the first steps toward potty training.

Pre-Nursery (Ages 2–3)

This stage focuses on building independence and social skills during the transition from baby to toddler. Activities include circle time with songs and stories, early recognition of colors and shapes, fine motor skill practice through coloring and playdough, outdoor exploration, beginning toilet training, and guided social interaction to encourage sharing and cooperation.

Nursery 1 & 2 (Ages 3–5)

These formative years prepare children for primary school and set the stage for academic success. The program introduces phonics in both languages, early counting and math concepts, pre-writing and letter formation, nature exploration and simple science experiments, creative expression through art and crafts, and physical development through structured games and basic sports.

7:00 AM – Welcome and free play
8:00 AM – Morning circle (songs, weather, calendar)
8:30 AM – Learning centers with rotating activities
10:00 AM – Snack time and outdoor play
11:00 AM – Story time and language activities
12:00 PM – Lunch and rest time

Our Nursery Difference – Bilingual Immersion

Children are immersed naturally in both French and English through dedicated French and English days, native-speaking teachers, songs, stories, and cultural celebrations from both traditions.

School Readiness Program

By graduation, every child will be able to recognize letters and numbers, write their name, follow multi-step instructions, work independently as well as in groups, and express themselves with growing confidence.

Building Strong Academic Foundations

Our primary program combines the best of Cameroonian education with innovative teaching methods that ensure every child succeeds. With about 20 students per class, your child receives the attention they deserve.

Curriculum Overview

Core Subjects – French Section

In the French Section, students build a strong foundation in Français, with emphasis on reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar and conjugation, vocabulary development, and poetry recitation. Mathematics covers number systems, arithmetic operations, geometry, measurements, and problem-solving, while Sciences d’Observation introduces learners to the human body, plants and animals, the environment, and hands-on experiments that nurture curiosity and discovery.

Core Subjects – English Section

In the English Section, children develop language proficiency through English Language, focusing on reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary enrichment, and oral presentation skills.

Mathematics emphasizes number work, shapes and space, data handling, mental calculations, and effective problem-solving strategies. Science explores living things, materials and their properties, forces and energy, and scientific investigations that encourage analytical thinking.

Enrichment Subjects – Both Sections

Alongside academics, students engage in Enrichment Subjects that broaden their learning experience. Information Technology develops digital literacy from Class 3 onwards, covering basic computer skills, typing, word processing, internet safety, educational software, and an introduction to coding in Classes 5–6.

Arts & Culture nurtures creativity through visual arts, music, traditional dance, drama, performance, and cultural studies. Physical Education promotes fitness and teamwork through athletics, team sports, traditional games, swimming (when facilities are available), and preparation for sports events. Character Education shapes values and responsibility, focusing on moral and civic education, leadership, environmental awareness, community service, and anti-bullying initiatives.

Class-by-Class Breakdown

Classes 1–2 (SIL & CP) – Foundation Years
In the early foundation years, the focus is on developing strong literacy and numeracy skills. Children learn primarily through play and exploration, which helps them build confidence and independence. This stage also introduces them to more structured learning in a gentle and engaging way.

Classes 3–4 (CE1 & CE2) – Skill Development
At this stage, students begin expanding their knowledge base and developing essential study skills. Technology is introduced to support learning, and children are guided in beginning simple research projects. The emphasis is on strengthening skills and nurturing curiosity.

Classes 5–6 (CM1 & CM2) – Examination Preparation
In the upper primary years, the focus shifts towards preparing students for examinations. The curriculum covers more advanced topics, while students are trained in exam techniques and critical thinking. Leadership opportunities are also provided, helping students build responsibility and confidence for future academic challenges.

Authorized by MINESEC, our secondary program completes the educational journey up to A-Levels.
